Independent contributors connecting their capabilities to one project

Venture Lab / Crowdfunding

First Structure the Project.
Then Ask People to Back It.

A project may come from us, a member of the network or an independent founder. Before it asks for funding, we make clear who owns it, what must be delivered and what the first amount will pay for.

What Crowdfunding Means Here

The network does not replace
a workable project.

We do not start with a public money target. We start with the project file.

The person proposing the work explains the result, the beneficiary or customer, the delivery team, the first budget and the risk. PACTUM can then use its network to find missing specialists, operating partners and independent contributors.

When the file is ready, people may register interest. A funding campaign opens only after the project, its terms and the appropriate payment route have been reviewed.

Before a Campaign

Four things need
a straight answer.

A persuasive video cannot compensate for an absent owner, an unexplained budget or a team that does not exist.

I

Who owns the project?

The responsible person or organisation is named, along with the rights they control and the commitments they can make.

II

What will the first amount produce?

The campaign is tied to a prototype, pilot, installation or other deliverable that can be checked.

III

Who will do the work?

Existing contributors are shown. Missing roles are identified before the network is asked to fill them.

IV

What is the legal route?

Donation, reward, presale and investment are not the same thing. The project must use the route and provider appropriate to its terms.

The Network’s Role

People may contribute
different things.

One member may understand the market. Another may build the software. An independent specialist may review safety or regulation. Someone else may register funding interest. Each contribution is attached to a stated need, not added for appearance.

First Example

A shared project with
a checkable first phase.

A distributed energy or water-monitoring installation could begin with one site, one operating partner and a defined set of measurements. The first campaign would fund that installation and its independent review—not an undefined global rollout.

IMPORTANT

Venture Lab does not currently collect money.

The site records projects, objectives and expressions of interest. A live campaign will require a suitable regulated provider and project-specific terms before payment is enabled.

the funding will produce?
